A fully qualified, CHAS accredited scaffolding company with over 30 years' experience, working across Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and outer London.
Falcon Scaffolding (Falcon UK Scaffolding Ltd) is a fully qualified scaffolding company with over 30 years of experience in the trade. From our yard in Thaxted, Essex, we provide scaffolding for domestic, commercial and industrial projects of all sizes across Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and outer London.
We specialise in safe, reliable and affordable scaffold design, erection and dismantling. From the first site visit and scaffold design through to installation, inspection and removal, we focus on precision, attention to detail and keeping your project running smoothly and on schedule.
Our reputation is built on doing every job to the same high standard, whether it's a one-off home renovation or a long-term partnership with a contractor.
Falcon Scaffolding is run by two hands-on directors who still work on site, price the jobs and answer the phone. When you call us, you're speaking to the people who'll put your scaffold up.
Director · Advanced Scaffolder
Glen started scaffolding at 21 and is a qualified Advanced Scaffolder, trained to erect complex scaffold structures well beyond standard tube-and-fitting work. He leads the team on site and keeps every job safe, tidy and on schedule, from chimney stacks and house extensions to new-build and commercial projects.
Customers often mention Glen by name for how carefully he treats their homes and gardens.
When he's not on a scaffold, Glen is usually fishing.
Director
Steve has been scaffolding for around 15 years, including time working on projects in Australia, and became a director of Falcon UK Scaffolding Ltd in January 2024. He holds his CISRS Part 2 scaffolding card, SSSTS site supervisor training and Layher system scaffold (SSPTS) training, along with Working at Height and Manual Handling certificates.
Steve looks after quotes, site visits and planning, making sure every scaffold across Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire is designed around the building and the trades using it.
Away from work you'll find him on the golf course or out with his dog, Trevor.
Both directors are on call 24/7 for emergencies. CHAS Standard accredited · £10m public liability · Covering Essex, Herts, Cambs and outer London.

"They were very professional and guided me through what I needed done. I requested additional work whilst the scaffold was up, which was no trouble for them. I have recommended them to my friend for his house. I would not hesitate to recommend them again."
